Steven Rice & Arroz Estúdios

Originally from Manchester, UK, Steven Rice has been an artist, curator & producer for over 10 years in the world of arts, music and cultural events across Europe. His styles and inspiration are heavily influenced by the ever diverse & multi-cultural upbringing of the South Manchester contemporary scene.

Since a young age his projects have developed philanthropic directions having worked in refugee camps and humanitarian relief charities from Beirut to Tajikistan. In 2018 Steven migrated to Lisbon to avoid Brexit and started Arroz Estúdios, a non-profit art centre set-up to help early stage creatives.

Steven is also one of the founders of the crypto art festival Rare Effect, he has a keen interest in electronic music and is responsible for the music curation & programming.
