Thiago Goms

Brazilian mixed media artist based in Lisbon.

From the surrealist busy streets of São Paulo, specifically from Grajaú, the art of Thiago Goms is born. Fascinated by what he saw on the murals of São Paulo and inspired by comics, cartoons and music, this artist creates his iconic work of anthropomorfic beings, a mixture between the real and the playful. The cats became his signature brand, being spread in murals wherever Thiago Goms passes. He believes in the quest for a less domesticated life outside of the imposed standards where you don't have many choices.
