Description

Birds fly together, as a group. They own the new place they move to because they act as one. In creating "Anatomy of pain", I focused on the concept of "moving" as a collective experience between humans of the same nation.
As an artist from the Middle East, I’ve been touched by the concept of immigration my whole life. Humans too, tend to stay connected together while moving, as they seek the feeling of belongingness to those with shared identity, memories, and feelings.
Anatomy of pain, FLY explores the mental journey of immigration via the mutual changes in physical bodies and a series of harmonic movements, echoing a unison crowd.
