The performance will reveal the invisible to the eye, such as emotions, thoughts, and internal or external inputs that may arise. As in a cycle, visuals and sound are born from the biological signals of the performer and come back into the software as synesthetic stimulae, in an infinite dialogue of biological, digital, artificial interaction, internal and external environment.

This live performance took place on the 21st of May 2022 at the Inner Work NFT Exhibition for Lisbon Week. Here Carlotta Premazzi and MuLABS tried bridging the emotions and the “Lucid Dream” into an art translation through the use of EEG data. This BioNFT was generated with the data from our artist’s brain and translated into a point cloud avatar reacting to the emotional engagement of the artist. The more stable the image, the more positively engaged the artist is with his own performance and the crowd.

Carlotta Premazzi was born in Pietrasanta, Italy, in 1982. Graduated in Industrial Design of Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Parma, she attended the MASP - Master in Architecture of Public Space (Lucca). She is currently onboarded in a Postgraduate Programme in Net Art and Digital Cultures at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Carrara. In addition, she integrates her education with courses like bio-art, live performance techniques and curatorship of the arts.
