Nice Day to Sit Under a Tree visualizes the dichotomy of mobility-potential based on social classes–the Global North and the Global South. The hand of the oppressed South holds the compass rose while it drains blood from the hand. Fed by this blood, the North is able to create branching pathways of potential that are only ever available to those who can afford to carelessly ignore them while they deteriorate.
